Hello,
Firstly let me thank you for taking the time to visit this page.
On the 20th July 2010 I will be setting off from south London, along with a
team of 60 riders. Our destination; Paris. The final leg of the 4 day event will see us
making our way down the Champs Elysees to the finish point under the Eiffel Tower.
The ride is organised by a charity called Action Medical, a leading UK-wide medical
research charity who are dedicated to helping babies and children. As many of you
may know there is another charity very close to my heart that i will also be raising
money for, the Chris Jones Riders Fund, a charity set up in the memory of Chris Jones,
a good friend and team mate of mine who lost his life in a tragic racing
accident in August 2005. Established in early 2006 by Chris’s Parents,
the CJRF raises money to help improve the safety of British Motorcycle racing and
in the few short years it has been running they have helped pay for safety fencing, a
mobile X ray machine, air ambulance cover and circuit based Physiotherapists.
I am really looking forward to the challenge and hope that you will help by supporting me and these 2
fantastic charities.
Thanks
